Four major characters were played by different actors from those who played them in the pilot Anna Lee: Headcase (1993). Anna Lee (TV Series 1994) cast and crew credits, including actors, actresses, directors, writers and more. Sonia Graham, best known for her role in Within These Walls, played office receptionist Beryl Doyle and Peter Wight was Anna’s fellow private investigator Bernie Schiller.Apparently Liza Cody who created the character in her series of novels became disenchanted with writing further novels after this series was made.There was a two hour pilot broadcast 10 January 1993 called Anna Lee-Headcase which was written by Andrew Davies.
